Marriage and Family Therapist, MS, LMFT
I have more than 10 years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, & families. I am an eclectic therapist, meaning I do not subscribe to any one therapeutic modality as I believe the therapeutic process is fluid and as a therapist, I strive to be the same. I have successfully helped my clients manage attention-deficit/hyperactivity, bipolar, depressive, trauma & stress related, impulse-control, & personality disorders. I specialize in healing work designed to address complex race-based & sexual traumas. I use non traditional therapeutic methods such as music, movement, art, and mindfulness practices as well, that allows for deeper creativity & a more individualistic experience in therapy.
I am certified in Dialectical Behavior therapy, Anger Replacement therapy, Strengthening Families, as well as Seeking Safety to name a few. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Afro Ethnic & Chicano/Chicana studies from Cal State Fullerton and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Baptist University. If you are looking for a therapist who is well versed in a plethora of theoretical frameworks & has an extensive clinical experience ranging across various age groups & settings, I would be honored to begin your journey towards healing with you whenever you are.
Sometimes we all need a helping hand, a listening ear, or a trusted confidant. When life seems to be too much & you’re looking for some extra support, the thought of having someone there to walk through the valley of life with you can make all the difference.
