    Therapy for Adolescents

“I assist adolescents in their desire for independence by helping them identify their true potential”

    Background working with Teens

During this vital time in the lives of most teens there are numerous distractions clamoring for your attention. My skill set, background, and passion align with assisting this population. I’ve spent 5+ years in my career working with 13 year old to 26 year old individuals, providing counseling and mentorship services. I specialize in using CBT and a solution-focused approach to treat depression, anxiety, and trauma related issues. I assist adolescents in their desire for independence by helping them identify their true potential.

    Counseling with Teens

Counseling for teens is a great opportunity for a youngster to seek support from a non-judgemental therapist. There are many benefits to engaging in therapy for teenagers. First, a safe space to express one self with the assistance of a licensed professional. Secondly, it allows the perspective client an outlet; a place of safety separate from family or friends. It serves as an opportunity to develop and enhance relationship skills as well as develop tools to work through current and future emotional struggles.

How can I help your child?

It has been said to me on numerous occasions that I have a special ability to connect with people. The characteristics that I believe matter the most are; allowing someone to be truly seen, recognized, and accepted for who they are without judgement. This is hallmark of my approach and work within counseling this population.
